Sharon Harmon’s Lasting Legacy for Oregon’s Animals
In March 2025, Sharon Harmon retired from her role of President & CEO after 36 years of leading the largest animal welfare organization in the Northwest.
During her time at Oregon Humane, Sharon became one of the most respected leaders within the animal welfare industry. She deepened Oregon Humane’ impact on animals by expanding our facilities, building lasting partnerships across Oregon, and fighting for some of the toughest animal protection laws in the country.
