• I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Meet and greets are subject to staff availability and you'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.
• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I have lived with other dogs in my last home and love playing and meeting new dog friends.
• Once I warm up and trust you, I will become your shadow and follow you around.
• H-O-T-T-O-G-0, you can take me hot to go!! I'm a Chappell Roan superfan, and I'd love to jam out to all of her music with you!

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
• I may do best in a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence & for me to play with!
• I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
• I need to go to a home without small children. Fast movements and loud noises frighten me.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
