What my friends at OHS say about me:

• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• Treats and time are the way to my heart! Give me some of each and as I get more comfortable my true personality will shine.
• I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
• I can be picky about my canine companions. Slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust to a home with resident dogs.
• I have a history of living with cats
• My foster parent says I love to snuggle and give kisses.
• I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
• I can be easily surprised by unpredictable people. I may do best with an adult only home, or children who can be slow and gentle with me.
• I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!
