Oregon Humane is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing of a cat whose remains were discovered at Scott Park in Milwaukie.
The cat was found with an electrical cord tied around its neck on Tuesday, March 28 in the amphitheater of the park, which is located at 10660 SE 21st Ave., Milwaukie, Oregon. A forensic necropsy performed by Oregon Humane revealed evidence of strangulation.
The cat was a spayed female domestic longhair, solid grey in color, approximately one year old. The Milwaukie Police Department and the Oregon Humane Cruelty Investigations Department are jointly investigating the crime.
